RM-bare
Befehle. |

The zoom speed is dynamically adjustable in 8 steps
(1..8) whereas the speed rises slowly to the adjusted value and when you release
the button, zoom speed decreases very smooth. The result is a gorgeous zoom drive
without abrupt stops! This fine graduation will only work with modern cameras from 1996 or younger. But for the older ones there is a compatible two-speed zoom mode: 0 for slow, 9 for fast zoom (maybe only mode 0 with very old models i.e. TR-705). Autofocus Switching auto/man. works with all cameras, regardless having a real switch or a push button for this function. |

The Interval mode is activated by pressing the two zoom keys simultaneously. This mode needs the "frame recording" mode of the SONY cameras, so the camera must support this. It can be activated in the camera menu "CAMERA SET" and makes the camera recording exactly 5 frames by pressing the "start/stop" key (some models only 2 or 3 frames, have a look for this value in your Owner's Manual). Unfortunately you can forget the item (in the same camera menu) "interval recording", the number of recorded frames differs not reproducable. If the item "frame recording" is not available in your camera, there is a chance to be enabled by us. With the rotary switch you select the interval to be recorded with ("0" is "off"). Longer intervals than 4 minutes don't make sense because the camera, depending on the model, switches itself to standby. Focus, exposure and white balance should be set to manual mode avoiding image changes by the automatic over long periodes. The optimum is a steady object illumination, so external influences do not cause disturbances in your fast motion film. There could be a problem with biological objects like plants getting too hot under a lamp. Therefore we provide a control signal for an external light thats starts 2 seconds before and 1 second after the recorded frame. This signal can be caught at a three pin plug, high- and low-activ, depending on the (your) ciruit. (Attention, these signals are connected direct to the µC and have to be adapted i.e. with a transistor!). The interval mode is terminated by a camera power off, the camera "frame recording" mode is also disabled as soon as the camera is powered off. For a real "one frame playback" use your Video Editing Software with a
500%-speed! |

If you are the proud owner of a camera with memorystick, use the
Photo Mode and the frames will be saved on the memorystick without stressing
the cassette drive and without the need for the "frame recording" mode! Some words to the menu: with "menu on" the menu will appear
on screen and must be terminated with "menu off" - never use "RETURN" in
the lowest level of the camera menu and never use the menu key on the camera!
The remote is not able to detect the external terminating of the menu mode.
With a special version of the RM-bare is a
synchronized control of multiple cameras or VCRs possible.
Two versions are available: The remote control is powered from the LANC plug, there is no need for an extra battery. The power consumption is only approx. 10mA, so the camcorder accu won't be stressed at all! You can make your
own suggestions! |
